APDO Board member

It’s with absolute excitement and privilege that I’m able to announce I’m the newest member of the board for APDO.

The Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers is an association run purely by volunteers with a board of 9 covering all areas from training and professional development to marketing and volunteering roles.

The aim of the association is to provide support for professional organisers through training, setting standards within the industry and supporting the growth of the industry.

I have agreed to step up and take on the role of Conference Director, coordinating the annual conference amongst other events throughout the year.

I’ve been a member of this amazing association for the last two years and the opportunity presented itself towards the end of last year.

Supported by a wonderful new team of fellow professional organisers, I can’t wait to take on the challenges this role will bring.

Having a background in events will certainly help and I felt that experience was the perfect reason to be able to jump back in and combine my two loves: events and organising!
